I have been having sleepless nights over the state of the field. Underneath the lush grass growth was the remnants of the Somme, due to a wet spring and a frisky horse. There were lots of ‘compensation’ holes. ie deep hoof prints. I have been looking into my prospective insurance providers…..
Thankfully, the friendly farmer, flattened it with his massive tractor and 3 tonne roller and got us out of jail.
Its not quite bowling green quality but its a million times better than before. Also I’m confident now that we are not going to have any broken ankle claims. lol.
The lads at wessex water were great. I was astonished that in our gadget age, they drilled into the water main with a giant drill powered by man. Yes thats right not electric. Basic engineering that works, powered by a somerset muscle.
There are also 5 new additions to the Botany clan, holes dug by Sasha our happy digger girl, and planted, watered and fed by the the Legendary Mr Darcy.
You never know we could be ready before the 22nd?
