Spectaular sunset on the Kennet and Avon Canal

We have been making great progress with over 100 likes on Facebook, 450+ followers on Twitter, and good traffic on the website. We had our 1st enquiry via email, which was brilliant, however they want to come before we are open……Close but no cigar!

Please feel free to tell any friends who may be interested in family friendly camping and glamping that we will be opening soon.

In case there are not enough things to do in close proximity Botany Camping, above is a photo taken from my narrowboat ‘Thunder’, showing what the Kennet and Avon canal has to offer at Sunset.

The canal is great for walking, cycling, fishing and seeing wildlife, particularly ducks and swans close up.

Cycling and walking are easy work as it is so flat. The stretch from Bradford on Avon to Bath is particularly scenic. Bradford on Avon is 20 minutes drive from Botany Camping, Bath is 30 minutes drive from Botany Camping

Kids particularly enjoy a boat ride which is easy to arrange.
